As a Summer Placement Intern, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining valuable insight into your chosen field. You will be involved in day-to-day operations, support key projects, and have the opportunity to develop practical skills that will enhance your future career.
We are looking for individuals with strong communication and teamwork skills, along with a proactive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn.
Successful applicants will benefit from a 6-week paid placement, earning £12.94 per hour. You’ll be fully immersed in our daily operations, working Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, gaining hands-on experience that goes beyond the classroom. This placement offers a unique opportunity to understand how a global manufacturer operates, contribute to real projects, and develop practical skills that will give your career a head start.

Workshop Operative
Learning and understanding all the processes from start to finish which will show why we are the best in class at what we do.

Draughtsperson
Creating and revising machine and assembly drawings using Solidworks, however other urgent tasks may be requested. This will teach the student how to control geometry to ensure correct functionality of the component.

Trainee Engineer
Updates to CAD drawings, MRP updates, ECNi processing. Exposure to materials, design and calculations

Trainee Buyer
General day to day purchasing functions, to deal with expediting, placing orders, calling and meeting suppliers on site, understanding how purchasing fits into the business and operates with other stakeholders.

Quality Certification
Material Certs Checking and supporting with Quality Documentation.

Inside Sales Administrator
Industry Overview, Computer Data Input Updates, General Office Duties, Order Entry Process Tracking.

HR Administrator
Gain an insight into the life of HR and support with administration & recruitment within the department.
